Gustavo Donolo (Gus) began playing soccer professionally at the age of 15 and quickly rose to the top ranks of South American soccer. He played on top-rated first division teams in Brazil and Argentina and consistently one of the top scores in league and tournament play. In addition, he played for Argentina's National Indoor Team and Brazil's National Futsal and Beach Soccer Team.
 
Locally, Gus has served as the head coach for the Northern Regional Olympic Development Program (ODP) Boys U-19 team. He coaches two WAGS teams that are among the top teams in the country in addition to training many select and travel teams. His dedication and communication with college coaches and also in the professional leagues in South America has allowed many of his players to play at the highest levels and have the maximum exposure under his guidance. 
 
Gus has been in the final 4 for State Cup Championships for the last 10 years winning numerous State Cup, Regionals and National titles for both indoor (FUTSAL) and outdoor.
 
Most of his players are currently playing and have played in some of the top Div 1, 2 and 3 NCAA college soccer programs in the country as well as in the South American leagues and in Europe. His international contacts have also allowed many of his players to train at some of the top academies outside the US and get some international experience.
 
In 2012 Gus will be coaching in the Region 1 Premier League with both of his girls teams, in the national league and playing in the top ranked tournaments around the country. He will represent VA for the Regional Championships at Hershey Park with the goal to make it to Nationals.
 
His programs are designed to be year round so if you are a serious soccer player willing to work hard with a dream to play in college, overseas or on the National Team one day; this is the program for you.

 
About the National League:
 
The National League is an extension of the highly successful US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues (US Youth Soccer Region I Premier League, Midwest Regional League, Region III Premier League and Far West Regional League). The National League provides an avenue for teams to play in meaningful matches against top competition from across the country for continued development and opportunities for exposure at the next level. In addition to recruiting opportunities, National League teams compete for the league title and two slots to the annual US Youth Soccer National Championships.

 Chuck King, was Head Coach of the Loudoun Hotshots from 1999–2004, and Asst. Coach of the Loudoun Hotshots under Randy May 2005–2008. Ranked Top 10 in the Nation 2008. Placed 15 players into Division 1 College Programs One National, and several State and Regional ODP players.
Was member of the Herndon High School Girls Coaching Staff 2005–2009 and Head Coach of the Loudoun Storm Select Team 2004–2006, and ODP District Evaluator for the Northern Region (VA) in 2004, 2005.
LICENSES HELD: USSF “D” Coaching License, NSCAA “Regional”, National Youth License.
IN COLLEGE: Played for Lynchburg College and holds an MBA, James Madison University.

Fabio Vicente, born in Rio de Janeiro, started his soccer career playing Futsal for some clubs in his Hometown including some well known C.R. Vasborn in Rio de Janeiro, started his soccer career playing Futsal for some clubs in his Hometown including some well known C.R. Vasco da Gama and Botafogo F.R. Outdoors he has played for Internacional F.C., all 1st division professional club teams in Brazil. Fabio has played for the Brazilian Futsal Team winning some Championships locally and Over Seas. In US he played 4 years with full scholarship to the University of the District of Columbia, and being selected three times for the ALL NCAA Regional Team and attended two NCAA play-offs with a award for the best records ever achieved for the school on its soccer history. He has participated five times at the North American Pro Sand Soccer/ U.S.OPEN with a brazilian beach soccer team , held in Virginia Beach every year. On the past seasons Fabio has played an Indoor Pro Soccer with Dulles AC, Maryland Tigers(PASL), and also has played with the Brazilian Futsal team in tournaments in Asia. Fabio has been very successful coaching and training several club teams around DC/VA/MD, such as VSA, Bethesda, Herndon, Ashburn, Sterling and Reston, all NCSL and WAGS teams. He also manages the area of evaluations of the company working in all events that the STBW participates during the year including the Winter and Summer Camps.
Christina just started working with Soccer the Brazilian Way, she graduated from Virginia Military Institute (VMI), she played in the NCAA Division 1 with a full scholarship from 2008-2012, played for Match Fit Academy, all district player, played ODP and was on the New Jersey State team. She coached and mentored freshmen team members in soccer techniques in the VMI system. Chris has already started working with our WAGS travel teams and bringing her knowledge from College to our girls in a fun and dynamic atmosphere.  /span>was born in USA, Holds USSF D license ,  played  at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda , MD.  Scholarship to Frostburg State. Played Semi-Pro in 1978 in Bethesda.   1989 League Director/ Coach for U-18 girls BRYC ,  20+ years of coaching youth at various levels. Coached and trained WAGS/ NCSL  .  trained  VSA & SYSA Development Program .Currently coaching and training Sterling FC Elite U-15 boys. Sterling boys will represent VA in USYS Presidents Cup 2012 this May in NH.

 Javier Culzoni was born in Paraguay; in the US he played for University of Columbia on a full soccer scholarship, rookie of the year in 2002, NCAA play-offs with team award for the best record ever achieved in school soccer history. Working for STBW since 2003 running summer, Residential and winter Futsal camps as well as actively training and assisting travel teams on the boys and girls side for STBW.  He has played professionally in first division in El Salvador for Municipal Limeno as well as Club Tacuary FC and Club Guarani in Asuncion, Paraguay.

 Erin Duncan, a 1991 NCAA All-American. Erin was a four year starter who played in three National Tournaments for Div. III University of Mary Washington.  She is still active as an adult player, playing in multiple leagues.  Coaching experience includes high school (National Cathedral School) and youth travel (VSA U8-U11 and South Carolina U16).  She is also a licensed Physical Therapist with current training in the prevention of youth sports injuries.  Erin’s coaching philosophy is grounded in the development of the player’s soccer skills and love of the game.

Marcelo Iarussi, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing from 1983 to 1989 in Boca Juniors, from 1991 to 1992 in Corporacion Deportiva Tulua and in 1993 moved to Club Atletico Guadalajara. He is currently training WAGS and NCSL teams for Soccer the Brazilian Way.

Rogerio Milholo, holds a Brazilian National Soccer Association Professional Coaches license (Equivalent to a US "A" license). He also holds US D license, and National Soccer Coaches Association of America licenses. He has been training for the last ten years here in the States with Tetra Brazil Soccer Academy and Soccer The Brazilian Way. He is a senior professional soccer coach, with vast experience, both in the US and abroad.

Kleber Batista, was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He playe4d in the Ipiranga Soccer Club and later transferred to Brazilian First Division. Victoria Soccer Club. Currently Kleber is responsible for developing youth programs at SYSA for Soccer the Brazilian Way, besides training WAGS and NCSL teams for STBW.

Thiago Silva, born in Recife, Brazil, Thiago was playing for Esporte Club Vitoria when at age 17 he was invited to play professional soccer for a second division team in Sao Paulo. In the USA Thiago participated in professional pre-seasons with the Baltimore Blast, Philadelphia KIXX and California Cougars, all clubs from the Major Indoor Soccer League. Thiago just received a full scholarship to play for The University of the District of Columbia. Currently Thiago is training both NCSL and WAGS teams for STBW as well as coaching a U-9 Girls academy team.

 Gustavo Veira, born in Montevideo, Uruguay raised in Lima, Peru. He started playing at La Inmaculada at the age of 6, then  deportivo Zuņiga and Domingo F. Sarmiento where he participated as part of the coaching team, helping the younger divisions and coaching youth teams.
He currently works as a trainer/coach with Soccer the Brazilian Way.

Suzanne (Suzie) Hammersmith, graduated from Radford University and played 4 years as a starter. She played against Mia Hamm, Kristy Lilly and Charmain hooper. As a youth player, she played in several Div 1 WAGS teams and Maryland and State ODP. Awarded at Radford University as MVP in 1990,89 and 88. She was St. John's College HS Varsity Soccer Coach and currently trains variious WAGS, NCSL, MSI and SAC teams and well as individual and small group training in Maryland and Virginia.

Italo Mota holds the National Diploma accredited by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He has been playing soccer since he was a child back in Brazil. He started playing for Marista Middle School, then Marista High School and also Unifor, University of Fortaleza In Brazil. In 2001 he tryed out for Ceara Futebol Club in Brazil but then he decided to keep playing at college, where he had the oportunity to know an learn from great coaches. Like all Brazilians he loves soccer and he loves sharing all he has learned with his students. Coach Italo started working for STBW in 2007 and since then he works in all events that the STBW participates during the year including the Winter and Summer and Residential Camps with some of the top travel teams in this area.

 Katrina “Kat” Pinkston, has holds the United States Soccer Federation National D soccer coaching license. Kat has over 10 years coaching experience, including several years coaching WAGS teams. She is particularly skilled at teaching soccer to the very young, having established and run the U4-U5 program for Sterling Youth Soccer Association for many years. She was previously a certified Grade 8 referee.

Boris Diaz Manzur, born in Peru 1978, played as soon as I could walk and have been improving my game ever since. My biggest accomplishment was making the US National Armed forces team to compete in tournaments in Barbados and in Germany; Achieving a 1st place in Barbados and a convincing 2nd Place in Germany. I follow a strictly South American style of play which has yielded me plenty of good results throughout my soccer career. I’m also responsible for introducing some “South American Flavor” into US Armed Forces Soccer, along with obtaining great results with, The Marine Team, Lake Braddock High School and Even Arsenal in VA.

William "Titou" Fierro, born in Switzerland, he has played in Switzrland in the Junior World Cup in Saint-Denis, France "Banlieux Du Monde" He has played for the French Club Les Genets d'Anglet for one season, then was transferred and played for Real Sociedad winning the annual Saragoza tournament against Athletico Bilbao.

Lori Makarczyk, played 6 years select for State of Virginia, 4 years NCAA, and various amateur adult league teams. Coaching several seasons at the youth level in Virginia. Currently training teams and players for Soccer the Brazilian Way. Lori will soon start assisting with the SYSA young player developmental program.

Bethanie L. Richards, born in Iowa and raised in North Carolina, she was granted a full scholarship for Mt. Olive College, North Carolina. She is current training NCSL and WAGS teams for STBW. Bethanie is also competing in the Premier Soccer League and is the record holder for assists.

Manffriny Mota (Manfra), Born in Brazil, trained in Fortaleza Esporte Clube and then played for the Associacao Atletica Banco do Brazil - AABB. He played 2 years at the University of Fortaleza - UNIFOR, where he studied Physical Education, and participated in Brazilian University Games - JUBS. He also played for the University Candido Mendes - UCAM and University Estacio de Sa - UNESA, located in Rio de Janeiro. Currently training and coaching travel teams as well as running academy training sessions for STBW.

Marcos S Buono (Caco), born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Caco has been a goal keeper for many professional teams in Brazil. Starting in his youth in Santos he played for Portuguese Athletic Association, Vasco da Gama in Rio, Iha Porchat Club in Santos and also trained youth players to bring them to the highest level in competition in Brazil. He is  responsible for most of the goal keeper development and many Goalie succeses for Soccer the Brazilian Way. He is currently training many NCSL and WAGS keepers, running winter goal keeper camps, summer and Residential camps. In addition he is the head coach for the Sterling FC Orange 'OO Boys Team.

Mark Shade, born and raised in Northern Virginia. Played on NCSL Div 1 teams while growing up and played for the U17 Virginia State Cup Champions. Graduated and played for Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, VA. Started for Christopher Newport University as a Freshman. Has been coaching and training for the past eight years in the Northern Virginia area for the recreational leagues and two NCSL teams, U10 and U14 Boys. Has been a Grade 8 referee from the age of 16.

GK-Trainer

 Larry Dolph, holds the United State Soccer Federation National D coaching license as well as the NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeper Certifications and has over six years coaching experience. Larry graduated from LeMoyne College (NCAA Div III) in Syracuse, NY where he was a three year goalkeeper starter and has played for various indoor and outdoor amateur adult teams in NY, NJ, and VA. He currently coaches a WAGS and NCSL team has trained goalkeepers in NY and VA.

Andres Contreras, born in Bogota,Colombia.  Moved to the United States at a young age.  Grew up playing soccer in the Northern Virginia area; played SYSA, NCSL and Super Y-League. NCSL Division 1 for the Sterling Xtreme, Loudoun Rangers, as well South Western Sidekicks won the State Cup twice back-to-back U-15 and U-16, with Gus as coach.  Also played for RFC '89, went to tournaments such as Dallas Cup, San Diego Surf Cup, North Carolina Score at the Shore, Triangle Friendlys, Tampa Bay Sunbowl, and the Disney Showcase.  In his Highschool years Andres played for 3 different schools; Potomac Falls (Varsity as a freshmen), Clarke County Varsity for one year where he made All-District and All-Regional.  Also, Park View Highschool.  This last school was where he preformed at his best level.  Winning the AA Dulles District, the AA Regional Tournament, was named on both All-District, and All-Regional teams.  Unfortunately Park View fell in the first round of the  '08 State tournament, but still was named on the 2008 AA All-State team.

 Adriel Stein Garcia, started playing futsal at the age of 5, and from 5 to 14 years of age he played several Metropolitano as well as Estadual championships. By the age of 14 Adriel started playing soccer for the Esporte Clube Primavera where he played for four consecutive years the U-15 and U-17 Paulista championship. When he turned 18, Adriel was invited to play for a U-20 team in Japan, and for a year lived in the land of the rising sun. Back to Brazil Adriel played for the U-20 team of the Esporte Clube Campinas. When he was about to turn 20, Adriel was offered the opportunity to either become a professional soccer player in a second division team in Brazil, or to come to the United States to study under a scholarship. Adriel has put his studies first, and is currently a University of the District of Columbia student where he has  a full scholarship. Adriel has made the all state team in 2010, and was awarded as the MVP player of the team this year.

Kevin Santos, born in the United States and raised in Northern Virginia. Started playing soccer at a young age, played in SYSA and for the Sterling Xtreme (State Cup champions).  Also played in the NCSL Divison 1 for the Great Falls Rangers.  Played 4 years of Varsity soccer at Park View High School, were they were District and Regional champions for AA schools in 2008. Kevin made 2nd team All District freshmen and sophmore years at PVHS, 1st team all District junior and senior years, along with a 1st team All Region and 1st team All-State Senior year. Kevin also played two years of college soccer (Divison 2) at the University of the District of Columbia.

George Echart, born in the USA, grew up in Northern Virginia. Has an E certificate in coaching, Played for SYSA Vipers which were in NCSL Division 1. He was co captain for team. He just graduate from form Potomac Falls High School where he played 4 years of varsity soccer, being captain of the team. In the last 4 years his team won 2 Dulles district title and 1 regional title and 2nd place in regional, 2nd place for State Cup in AA . George has played for many teams and has over 10 years of playing and each team constantly while fighting in the finals of big tournament and leagues. Currently working with the youth programs of Soccer the Brazilian Way, assisting with summer, residential camps and winter clinics.

  Thomas Mayhugh, born and raised in Northen VA. Has been playing soccer his whole life. Played NCSL Division 1 and was a 4 year Varsity starter at Battlefield High School where he was named to All-District and All-Region Teams. Is currently volunteering as the Varsity Boys Assistant Coach at Battlefield High School and will hopefully be playing for George Mason University (NCAA Div 1) in the Fall.
